Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, playwright and teacher in St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton, the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of plays as a child and observing her mother doing her job. She appeared in many commercials as a young child. Anna relocated to Toronto so that her acting skills could improve. The actress later relocated Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. They got engaged in the year 2009. Anna became a Jew in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They were married civilly in December of the same year, and they then renewed their vows during the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo's relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted on CNN's list of the top favorite Television Couples as well as named the most popular TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna gained a huge number of followers on social networks due to the success of its show.
